About me

Born in Vienna (Austria) and Raised in Uden (Netherlands). Half Dutch, half Austrian and ever the rebel. Got my first tattoo in 1997 and was hooked ever since.

In 1998 I met Darko who is not just an amazing artist, but a very inspirational person as well. Not only did he cover a huge part of my body with amazing artwork, he triggered my curiosity for looking outside the box. And not having to be afraid to take chances. Even if it means that you don’t succeed.

In januari 2005 I began my biggest adventure ever. Sick of Holland I decided to try my luck on the Emerald Isle. For some unexplainable reason, I felt drawn to Ireland and the Irish people. I was welcomed with open arms, for wich I am still very greatfull to this day.

Danny Bullman from Limerick city, gave me the opportunity to get a foot in the door of this wonderfull industry. I learned a lot from Danny and still hope that I make him proud of his old apprentice. Not only did he teach me the skills I have, but due to him I got to know a lot of amazing artists as well, wich gave me the opportunity to learn from even more people.

If it wasn’t for Danny I would not have met Sean Venter at a crucial moment in my life. For Sean and his family kept me in the game. I do consider him and his boet Gavin, my mentors. Making sure I kept my head together and become the man I am.

After leaving Danny I moved aroud quite a lot. Trying to find my little spot on this earth. Waterford, Mullingar and Dublin. In the mean time spent time in Holland as wel. Working in Amsterdam, Zwolle and my home town.

Got the opportunity to guest in Athens with Savasito, in Germany with Hori GoGo. Was able to work with Gavin in South Africa for Mully as well.

In 2016 I returned to the Netherlands and started working in Oss and since 2017 I found my way back home again. Working in Uden at Double Trouble.

In july 2019 I moved to Spain. Still working at Double Trouble once a month as a guest artist. Visiting friends in Austria every once in a while. Pretty much, an artist on the road.

The time back Home in Spain I try to commit myself to the designs for my customers and the production of one off pieces of juwellery. Working with mostly different types of wood, bone, antler, stone and metals as copper.

Hoping to pick up painting again soon and occasionally making an advertisement sign, or furniture.

As long as I keep busy, working with my hands.

Saludos
